Welsh Conservatives Launch Policy Forum For People of Wales
The Welsh Conservative Party has launched a new website, Your Voice in the Assembly, designed to give people and businesses in Wales an discussion forum where feedback will be directly passed to Conservative politicians and policy makers in the Welsh Assembly.
The bilingual website features a discussion forum known as 'Speakers' Corner' where regular contributions from Conservative Assembly Members will join submissions from organisations and groups outside the Cardiff Bay 'bubble'.
Andrew RT Davies, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives in the Assembly, said:
"Since January, I have been getting out and about across Wales and talking to people about the issues that they feel strongly about; about how decisions that are being made – or not – in the Assembly are currently affecting them.
"YOUR VOICE IN THE ASSEMBLY is designed to be an interactive discussion forum. We want you to have the opportunity to take part in the debate, and to have the chance to talk to us about the performance of the National Assembly.
"We want to establish a vibrant and democratic conversation with organisations, businesses and individuals in communities across Wales about how we can improve public services and make Wales a better place in which to live. That starts by admitting that we don’t have all the answers.
Which is where you come in."
