Glyn Davies, Member of Parliament for Montgomeryshire, has welcomed the confirmation by Post Office Ltd that the Post Office Trefeglwys Partnership Service will be reopening from 6th September. The announcement by Post Office Ltd is a welcome boost. The service will be reopening at the Trefeglwys Community Shop after consultation with local residents. Commenting on the Post Office’s decision to reopen and site the new partnership service at the Trefeglwys Community Shop Glyn Davies said: “The reopening of a post office in Trefeglwys is welcome news. A post office provides a much valued service in villages like Trefeglwys and it will help create a viable village centre at the new Community Shop.
The Post Office will provide excellent facilities and good access for disabled customers. I hope it will be well used and prove to be a great success.”
